Ingredients
- 4 cups oat milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 3 carrots
- 4 tsp Prana Kitchens Chai Masala
- a few strands of saffron
- 1 cup muscovado sugar or raw cane sugar
Directions
Soak almonds for 30 minutes in warm water so you can remove the skin.
Peel, cut, and cook carrots in 1/2 cup of oat milk.
Grind everything together except the saffron strands, to a smooth paste.
Bring to a slow boil, add saffron strands, and remove from the fire.
Cool completely and chill for 4 to 6 hours and enjoy a delicious kheer!
