Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- ⅓ cup red cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
- ½ green chilli, chopped
- ½ tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp jaggery (optional)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped cilantro

½ tsp SRS turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Prana Kitchens Garam Masala
- Salt to taste

3 tbsp wheat flour. Can use gluten-free flour as well – plus more for rolling
Directions
Mash the chickpeas well.
Add red cabbage, fresh ginger, chopped chili, lime juice, jaggery, finely chopped cilantro, turmeric, Prana Kitchens Garam Masala and salt.
Mix well and roll into balls. Dip the balls in the wheat flour and place them between 2 parchment papers.
Press the balls using the bottom of a glass to flatten it into a burger.
Using a cast iron skillet, shallow fry the burgers 2 or 3 at a time.
Flip occassionally ensuring the burgers are browned on both sides.
