Ingredients
- 2 cups Forbidden Rice Conjee flour
- 1 cup turbinado raw cane sugar
- ½ cup coconut oil or olive oil
- 1 cup vegan plant-based milk (oatmilk is a good choice)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup grated or cut apples
- ½ cup pitted dates
Directions
In a bowl, combine coconut oil, plant-based milk, and apple cider vinegar.
In a separate bowl, combine Forbidden Rice Conjee flour, turbinado sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Now pour the wet mix into the dry mix and stir slowly until they are well combined. Add grated or cut apples.
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease a baking pan and pour the batter in. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
When cool, top the cake with cut pitted dates.
