Crispy, golden, and packed with nourishment—these Moringa Rice Latkes are a modern twist on a South Indian classic. Made with our Prana Kitchens’ Moringa Rice Adai mix and hearty potatoes, they bring together the earthiness of moringa, the comfort of rice, and the crisp bite of a latke. Perfect as a breakfast, wholesome snack, appetizer, or side, they celebrate Ayurveda’s wisdom in a form everyone will love.

Ingredients

Sesame or coconut oil for cooking
- 1 cup Prana Kitchens Moringa Rice Adai mix
-
¼ packet of Prana Kitchens Adai Spice (Moringa & Coconut)

½ cup of water

2 medium potatoes, peeled & grated
- Salt to taste
Directions
Save the Adai Spice packet for later.
Mix water and the Prana Kitchens Moringa Rice Adai and soak for 5-7 hrs.
30 minutes before making the adais, add salt, Moringa Rice Adai Spice, and grated potatoes.
Adjust the batter with water until it reaches a thick consistency that can be easily scooped with a spoon.
Heat a cast iron griddle until evenly hot.
Add a scoop of the batter on the griddle and gently flatten using a spatula
Spoon sesame or coconut oil around the edges & flip to cook both sides.
Remove from the pan after the latkes are lightly crisp.
Enjoy warm with Red Bell Pepper Chutney
