Ingredients
- 1 can white beans (we used great northern beans, but you could substitute with cannellini beans), drained and rinsed
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1½ tsp Prana Kitchens Pulingari Podi
- Salt
-
Laiju black pepper to taste
- Crushed red pepper
- Olive oil
Directions
In a small saucepan, sauté chopped shallots in 2 teaspoons olive oil for a couple minutes until softened. Add chopped garlic and a pinch of crushed red pepper. Sauté for a minute. Add Prana Kitchens Pulingari Podi, white beans, pepper, and salt. Mix everything thoroughly, and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Switch off the stove and let it cool completely.
- Add the sauteed beans to a food processor. Pulse the mixture while pouring in 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to help the dip come together.
- Take the dip out in a bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil. Enjoy with crudités, crackers, or crostini.
