Kathi Roll Delights with Utsava Spice Blend

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of boiled potatoes when mashed
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (or any color of your choice)
  • 3 tsps Prana Kitchens Utsava Spice Blend

  • ¼ tsp SRS Turmeric

  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to season
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Chopped cilantro
  • 1 packet vegan cheese (or regular cheese if you prefer that)
  • Uncooked whole wheat tortillas or fresh uncooked chapati

    1. Boil potatoes, peel, then mash.

    2. In a pan, heat up some oil.

    3. Add the bell pepper, turmeric, Prana Kitchens’ Utsava Spice Blend, salt, and sauté it for 5 minutes.

    4. When it becomes a bit translucent add the boiled potatoes. Mix it very well and keep for another 2 minutes.

    5. Turn off the heat. Add lemon and chopped cilantro

    1. Preheat the oven for 400 degree fahrenheit.

    2. Take an uncooked wheat tortilla.

    3. Add 2 tablespoons of the grated cheese and 2 tablespoons of the stuffing. Spread it onto the tortilla and roll it like you would for a soft burrito.
    4. Repeat the rolling process. There should be enough for about 10 rolls.

    5. Now place them on the tray and bake for about 10-15 minutes first depending on the kind of oven you are using.

    6. Flip the rolls and bake for another 10-15 minutes until you have a golden brown crisp roll.

    7. The timings depend on the oven, so please make sure you check your rolls frequently.
    8. Remove the tray from the oven, and now you have crispy kathi rolls to enjoy!
