Ayurveda Recommends

■ Suitable for Vata & Kapha. In moderation and with precaution for Pitta
■ Those with Pitta predominance should use Dry Ginger in small quantities & occasionally. Take it with/immediately after food, preferably combined with pitta balancing items like ghee, sugar, or honey. It can also be consumed with milk, if suitable.
■ Bloating: Drink a cup of diluted buttermilk with ½ tsp of dry ginger powder & pinch of salt
■ Hiccups: 1 gm of dry ginger powder mixed with honey - to be taken in three equal parts three times during the day.
■ Poor hunger & indigestion: 5 gm dry ginger powder mixed with jaggery (double the quantity) - to be taken before breakfast and lunch
